Kodent® was founded in 1976. in Germany. Since 1989 is our laboratory and practice in the city of Sabac, Serbia, 80km away from the capital Belgrade and the international airport (60km). The city has an important position as a trading center with important historical monuments. Therefore she changed in the Middle Ages several times the "owner" between the Ottoman Empire and Austria-Hungary. The city played a very important role during the first Serbian uprising. In 1806 Karadjordje the Serbian Resistance Army one of the first victories against the Ottoman army. "Klein PARIS" called Sabac in the 19th century when the Obrenovic dynasty to modernize this region and the city of Sabac itself contributed. In between 1820 and 1840, the first hospitals, pharmacies, schools was (the first school), the first library, theater and opera founded, which now belong to the oldest of Serbia. The city was liberated in 1867 with the withdrawal of the last Turkish troops completely from the Ottoman rule. Already in 1883 a newspaper was printed in Sabac. Šabac was also the first city in which women were allowed to visit on Sundays coffeehouses. Until now this was only the men vorbehalten.Nach WWII unfolded the city one of the most modern industrial cities of Yugoslavia. In the 1970s, an explosive increase in the birth rate was recorded after had previously built and opened tons of residential buildings, schools, sports fields, halls and kindergartens. Today Sabac is one of the largest cities in Serbia. A city with many attractions. A city known for its festivals such as "CIVIJADA" a festival of humor in October, during which time a small Sabac Republic itself is, with their own notes and King (of humor).
